There are not a lot of rules. The whole purpose of the server is to have fun. I don't get paid to run it-- I do it for the enjoyment-- so please don't make my life miserable!! I could always make money hosting porno sites instead of a H-L server.
I will always consider closing the server for matches (clan or otherwise) of 6-8 players. Any more than 8 will lag too much due to cable's upload bandwidth limitations. Please e-mail me well in advance with your request and specifics for any changes in configuration you would like.

Excessive vulgarity and purposeful insults will not be tolerated. There is a difference between good-natured banter and kidding around while playing rather than insults meant to hurt or belittle. We were all newbies at one time. If something happens that makes you angry, get over it-- it's just a game!!!
No shooting people standing facing the wall or a corner-- they are either typing or taking a break. Of course, the RhoBots don't know the difference, so if you stop you take the chance of being fragged!
Camping is not appreciated, but spawn camping or mining is not sportsmanlike nor tolerated.
No cheats or hacks. That will get you banned immediately, plus reported to the Admins' Blacklist!!
Bandwidth is too low for non-active players. Either play or make room for someone else!
A player will be warned on the first offense, kicked on the second, and banned the third time. The final authority over disputes lies with me or a duly authorized and empowered representative.
